For the Kids

Did you ever attend the Sunday School or Monday Night Children's Bible Time at the Gospel Hall? We have a Facebook Group, so click here to join.

Here at the Chatham Gospel Hall we have a sincere care and interest in children, especially that they learn God's word from a very young age. The apostle Paul said to Timothy, a young man, "And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." (I Timothy 3:15)

The Lord Jesus himself loved children as can be seen from Luke 18:16, "But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Let the little children come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."

Sunday School - Sunday from 11:30am - 12:30pm

The Sunday School here at the Chatham Gospel Hall is divided into eight (8) classes according to age. Each week begins with the singing of Bible songs and then the children go to their own classes where they will learn verses and a story from the Bible. Each student receives both candy and a Sunday School paper to read at home.

We have a mother's group and an adult Bible study at the same time as the Sunday School. You are invited to join us while your child is at Sunday School.

From time to time throughout the year we hold special Sundays when the whole family is invited for a meal, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, and our Sunday School Picnic to mention a few.

Sunday School Treat - Each January we hold a Sunday School Treat for all of the Sunday School students and their parents to show what they have learned and to reward them for coming all year long. There is a guest speaker, a program where the students participate, a meal is served and prizes are handed out.

Children's Bible Time - Monday from 6:45pm - 7:45pm (Certain times of the year only. Stay posted for dates)

During the school year we have Children's Bible Time on Monday evenings. We sing Sunday School songs, then the children memorize a Bible verse (for which points and prizes are awarded). Then there is an interesting and entertaining Bible lesson and a game to end the night. Parents are always welcome to attend!
