The Lord's Supper - Sunday - 9:45am - 11am
Each Sunday morning at 9:45 am until 11:00 am the Christians that meet in the Chatham Gospel Hall gather together to remember the Lord as he commanded:
Luke 22:19-20 - "And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you."
1 Corinthians 11:23-25 - "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me."
All are welcome to come and observe this very important meeting.
What you will see…
The Lord’s Supper is a meeting in which the Christians remember the life and death of the Lord Jesus who has come to mean so much to them. Various men will rise to give thanks to God for His Son and hymns will be given out and sung that offer praise and worship to God for his love and grace. Towards the end of the meeting the bread will be broken and passed and then the cup will also be passed. You will notice that this is exactly what the Lord commanded Christians to do in the verses mentioned above.

Teaching/Ministry Meeting - Sunday - 12pm - 12:30pm
The Bible teaches that people who have been saved should be taught the truth of God's word. The Bible is the instruction manual by which Christians seek to live and it contains the mind of God and the Person of the Lord Jesus, both of which are vital for growth and fruitfulness in the Christian life.
What you will see...
This meeting is held in the Bible Study room upstairs and usually one pre-arranged speaker will speak from the Bible on various Bible truths for approximately 30 minutes.
Gospel Service - Sunday - 7pm - 8pm
The Lord Jesus clearly commanded His disciples to preach the gospel (good news). In Mark 16:15 He said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Down through the centuries starting with the account given of Peter preaching Acts chapter 2 brave and dedicated followers of the Lord Jesus have fanned across the globe spreading the good news that comes from God through the Bible. You can learn more about God’s message by going to the page entitled ‘God’s Message for YOU’.
Each Sunday evening from 7:00pm until 8:00pm we preach the good news, how people can know in this life that they will be in heaven forever. We not only welcome you to these meetings but we strongly encourage you to come and hear what God has to say to you.
What you will see…
Two men will get up one after the other and read from the Bible and then explain simply and plainly what God is saying to people today. The meeting is very orderly with no audience participation and we never have collections. If you have questions about anything that has been said you are more than welcome to ask one of the speakers or any one of the Christians, and we will do the best we can to make God’s message easy for you to understand.
Prayer Meeting and Bible Study - Wednesday - 7:30pm - 8:30pm
The first half of this mid-week meeting is the prayer meeting. The scriptures make it clear that the local church is dependant on God and this is expressed as the Christians of the local church gather to pray on a regular basis. In fact this is one of the many things that characterized the early church:
Ac 2:42 "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."
The second half of this meeting is a conversational Bible study in which the teachers in the assembly will discuss a passage of scripture together, with the idea of lifting practical truths from it for the instruction and encouragement of the believers.
